Command Vehicle 4802

Command Vehicle 4802 is a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban.  4802 is utilized by the on-duty Battalion Chief who is responsible for initiating command of any emergency situation.


Rescue / Ladder Quint 4815

Rescue / Ladder Quint 4815 is a 2010 Pierce 75 foot aerial ladder apparatus.  Quint 4815 carries a full complement of hydraulic rescue tools, a 1500 gallon per minute fire pump, a 470 gallon booster tank, a 30 gallon foam reservoir that is piped to multiple discharges, and a 10kW hydraulic generator.  Quint 4815 has a pre-connect hoseline and hydraulic rescue tools mounted on its front bumper.  It also carries a full complement of emergency medical equipment and is staffed by four to five firefighter/paramedics.


 

Rescue / Pumper 4824

Rescue / Pumper 4824 is a 2019 Sutphen fire-rescue engine.  4824 has a 1500 gallon per minute fire pump, 750 gallon booster tank, a 30 gallon foam tank, and a full complement of hydraulic rescue tools. 4824 is equipped with the innovative SAM integrated total water control system that manages the truck’s pump, tank, intakes and discharges on a 10-inch touch-screen display.  4824 carries high and low pressure air bags for extrications as well as rescue struts to stabilize vehicles and other items in precarious positions.  It also carries a full complement of emergency medical equipment and is staffed every day by four firefighter/paramedics.


 

Tower Ladder 4835

Tower Ladder 4835 is a 2021 Rosenbauer 100-foot aerial ladder platform.  4835 has a 2000 gallon per minute fire pump with a 370 gallon booster tank, and can extinguish large fires from the tip of the ladder or small fires with hose lines on the ground. 4835 is equipped with the innovative SAM integrated total water control system that manages the truck’s pump, tank, intakes and discharges on a 10-inch touch-screen display. 4835 carries a full complement of hydraulic rescue tools and emergency medical equipment.  Four to five firefighter/paramedics staff 4835 everyday.


 

Reserve Rescue / Industrial Pumper 4894

Reserve Rescue / Industrial Pumper 4894 was identified as a need for our community and built specifically for the hazards that exist at the West Lake and Bridgeton landfills. 4894 is a 2021 Rosenbauer Industrial Pumper purchased with funds from the St. Louis Community Foundation. It is also our reserve fire truck and will be placed in primary service when any other apparatus in the fleet are undergoing repairs or maintenance. This fully customized truck encompasses all the same capabilities as Rescue / Pumper 4824 with the addition of a 3000 gallon per minute fire pump. 4894 is also equipped with the innovative SAM integrated total water control system that manages the truck’s pump, tank, intakes and discharges on a 10-inch touch-screen display.


 

Ambulances 4817 & 4837

Ambulances 4817 & 4837 are 2019 AEV ambulances built on Ford F-550 Chassis.  4817 & 4837 carry a full array of emergency medical equipment and can transmit 12-lead EKG’s to the hospital emergency room from an emergency scene.  They carry a state of the art cardiac monitor, advanced airway management equipment, an electric over hydraulic stretcher and stretcher lifting device, a wide variety of medications, as well as firefighting breathing apparatus and hand tools.  4817 & 4837 are staffed by two firefighter/paramedics on an everyday basis.


 

Reserve Ambulance 4897

Ambulance 4897 is our reserve ambulance that encompasses all the same capabilities as 4817 and 4837.  The reserve ambulance is placed in service when the other apparatus in the fleet are undergoing repairs or maintenance.


 

Marine Unit 4839

Marine Unit 4839 is Pattonville’s water rescue response unit.  It consists of a 21 foot Sea Ark rigid hull boat with a 150 HP Mercury outboard engine.  It also has a 12.5 foot Zodiac inflatable boat with a 30 HP Evinrude engine designed specifically for rescue use.  The Marine Unit is fully outfitted with swift-water rescue equipment, protective rescue dry suits, and ice suits for ice and cold water rescue responses.  The Marine Unit is staffed by the six to seven firefighter/paramedics that are assigned to Engine House 3 on any given day.


 

Hazardous Materials Decontamination Unit HM-48

HM-48 is a part of the St. Louis County Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team equipment cache.  It provides decontamination services and medical supplies for hazardous materials response operations for all of St. Louis County.  HM-48 will also respond into surrounding areas to assist stricken agencies in need of specific HazMat decontamination assistance.


 

Safety Trailer

The Pattonville Fire Protection District believes that prevention is essential to fire and life safety.  Our Safety Trailer contains the supplies and tools we use to provide safety education for our citizens.  The Safety Trailer has an area that identifies household hazards such as cooking fires, household chemical storage and electrical safety concerns.  The second half of the Safety Trailer features a bedroom area that can be charged with theatrical smoke to simulate a fire and allows participants to practice the process of safely escaping a burning home.
